Privacy & cookie policy
This policy explains what personal information the Organic Bangla Kitchen website (organicbanglakitchen.com) collects, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
The website is operated by Alan Victor Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12477923), registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, on behalf of Sangitha Chanda (Organic Bangla Kitchen). Alan Victor Services Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools on this website.
Videos from YouTube
The videos on this website are hosted on YouTube, a service of Google. A video is only loaded from YouTube when you press its play button; until then no information is sent to YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you press play, YouTube receives your IP address and information about your device and may store information on your device, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Links to YouTube and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising, and it has no log-in, so we do not ask for cookie consent. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary security cookies from our host or Cloudflare, used to tell real visitors from automated attacks. Pressing play on a video lets YouTube set its own cookies or similar storage, as explained above.
Who we share information with
- Our web host (SiteGround), which stores the website and its server logs and delivers our email.
- Our DNS and security provider (Cloudflare), which routes traffic to the website.
- YouTube (Google), only when you choose to play a video.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or someone else. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This website is a general family cooking and gardening site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), has no public log-in, and is protected by our host’s and Cloudflare’s security systems. Contact form messages go straight to our mailbox and are not stored on the website.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top.
